Step 3 Expose converter-flywheel bolts by removing converter dust cover. Ford and Chrysler- rotate converter to locate drain plug at 6 o'clock. Remove plug and drain converter. Separate converter from flywheel. Remove four (4) bolts on Chrysler, three (3) bolts on GM, and remove four (4) nuts on Ford.
