Do u want to install Mac from the iAtkos DVD onto an USB Stick? Do u want to have a copy of the iAtkos DVD on your USB Stick (and boot from the Stick?) sry, i didnt get it completely. But afaik it is NOT possible (sadly) to install Mac from any Media to an external Device such as an USB Stick or an external USB HDD (Firewire should work).

The only workaround is: Install Mac on an internal HDD and then Back it up via Disk Utility onto an USB Stick. Maybe this will work and allow you to boot from an external Media (with my Original Macbook Pro and a Backup of the whole system onto an external USB HDD i could boot it up and use it without the internal HDD). If you just want to boot the iatkos from USB Stick, just use Diskutil and clone the DMG Image on the USB Stick (but i guess that is not what u wanted to know).
