Could solve the problem that way. At start of TR, i got the message 'Autosave is damaged. Will be recreated' I have just renamed one of my manual saves to 'autosave.TRASave' just as you wrote.and after restart of the game.voila.it will let me toad the save game.:) But do a backup of your savefiles first:). O_O But your idea worked perfectly. I guess it's a good idea to keep one or two manual saves going just in case the game craps itself.
